Time for a chill pill peepel

This was always going to be tricky in the 3rd division, your going to these wee grounds and anyone that's played footy at any level knows that if you go to places like Annan, Elgin etc you get brought down to their level. Sh ite happens at the end of the day.

Hats of to Stirling though they had a game plan and stuck to it, look at the performances at Ibrox compared to the ones like Saturday you play an opponent in their domain they have the upper hand, laws of war an all that.

We will get there fellow bearz have faith in the face of adversity everyone seems to have short memories in football these days Ally was the best thing since sliced bread when we pumped the then top of the SPL Motherwell a week or 2 a go!!

So just calm down everyone and carry on bring on Ibrox next

Had this been a one off result I could live with it, I certainly don't expect us to be unbeaten but come on it's the manner of the draws/defeat that is worrying.

The players just don't look interested. That's not acceptable. They are being paid extortionate sums of money by comparison to the rest of the league and they can't even match the basic desire of the opposition let alone the skill required to win games. It's all fine and well to talk about tactics, ability etc but when we can't even match the basic will to win our opposition are showing then we've no hope regardless of how talented our squad is.

Is it all Ally's fault, not sure, but it can't continue like this for much longer.

I give him til January and if we're not top or at least within a point or two we have to get rid.

This should be a cake walk for our squad. Yes the games are slogs and we will often be kicked off the park but we knew that from the start and should be prepared for it.

If the other teams treat our games as cup finals then we must do that too. Is it too much to ask guys on £5k+ a week to match even just the basic desire and determination of part timers?

Its one thing supporting Ally but it must not risk the priority of promotion. He should be given til Xmas and if there is no improvement then he should be replaced. This would give a succesor a chance of retrieving the situation.

The only problem I have with that curly is that I think we have the only chance ever of changing the philosophy of football at ibrox.

3 years of breeding a team for future success playing good football.

I honestly don't hunk McCoist can do this.

He will get us promoted, but I don't feel that's enough.

Curly, teams like Swindon can progress from the English lower leagues whilst playing good football. Lower leagues in England are physical leagues.

Even if it isn't plane sailing, at least it should be better to watch than 90 mins of watching the centre backs punting it up to a targetman.

Paul le Guen tried this. It didn't work. One club cannot change that philosophy on it's own.

In a league of hammer throwers pretty football will not win. Not unless we have Barca style players. Scottish footballers simply don't have the ability to play that kind of football.

Seems there is no right or wrong on this one we all understand both sides for and against.

One of the worries for me is that this festers and splits the support as in all my years supporting the Bears I have never known the support so united (outwith grief).

I do believe that if this was anyone else other than Ally the knives would all ready been sharpened and the door opened for him.

Mitre has made some great points today re style of play and a clean slate so to speak.

I for obvious reasons dont want him to fail but if its no happening by mid/end of Dec. Sadly he must be shown the door. Until then lets circle the wagons and fasten our seatbelts it may be a rough ride

DB,

Again, I point to Swindon. They play great football and have been successful in very physical leagues.

The idea that teams like Swansea would not be able to win the sfl3 I find ridiculous. Swansea play great football, but don't have players like messi throughout their team.
