Apparently some Blackpool fans have been getting at Holloway for Blackpool's lack of consistency. A manager who took them from the bottom half of the championship to promotion in his first season, last day relegation from the premiership, then the play-off final in his next championship season, then top of the league for much of this season so far. At a club who averaged about 10,000 when he got there and who have little/no money.
Our fans got at Kean. A manager who took us from the top half of the premiership to last day survival in his first season and relegation in his second season. At a club who averaged 25,000 when he got there and who spent over £30m in his 2 year stint.
Will the Blackpool fans get nationwide criticism? Nope course not.
Fair to say its quite annoying.
And people have a go at our fans!

If they boot him he'll be a target for tonnes of teams, it's not rational behaviour from the fans certainly compared to the situation you were/are in.

I was amazed all along at the reaction of opposition fans to our plight. Results under the classless one were so poor that all other discussion points were unneccessary, yet they still could not see the reason for our unhappiness.
Let some other club be newsworthy foir the wrong reasons. It got boring reading negativity about the Rovers, especially after years of astute management and keeping things professionally in-house.

At least two clubs in the NW hoping that Steve Kean's positivity does not land him the job.
Can imagine Stevie saying to Gartside ' look in my eyes, look in my eyes....in two years we will be playing Real Madrid'

On a train last week, I ended up sitting next to a City fan. I had my scarf on and he started chatting to me about Rovers, then started telling me he thought what our fans had done to Steve Kean was awful. I put him right and had him converted by the time I got off.

Man Ox Rd to Sheffield, but I actually only had to mention the bodyguard/chauffeur, the spiked drink, the lack of apology for relegation and the dew on grass for him to realise that sports journalism has been a bit w@.nk in this case.
