Does Fatherhood -Change Boxing perception??

Some people haven't got it in them to be a Father.....and fathering isn't easy I should know...

However I have found that since having boys... I no longer enjoy the brutal knockouts like I did in the past...It's kind of domesticated me....made me more sensitive!!

Whilst I feel a cerain pity for any middle aged man who won't go through the highs and lows of real family life....Mainly pity!!!

Does anybody else think Fatherhood has changed their perception of the sport??? certainly has mine!!

I have 2 girls and it has made me love it even more, seeing how one man can best another in a hand to hand situation. I therefore relate the same idea in a protection and image scenario. "my daddy is big and bad, so dnt mess!" kind of thing

Your issue seems to be that you can envisage the said bloke being somebodys little boy, (albeit grown up) on a sat night outside a club.

Combat sports are a funny entity....but i love em!

Last weekend at a wedding my 5 year old kept coming to me crying cos some other lad was hitting him. After following the missus recommendation to do nothing I told him to "hit him back harder" which he did and the problem was solved

Back to the post, I love to watch a brutal KO and fatherhood has not stopped that wish.
