Messi stands on 67 goals in 2012 (56 for Barca, 11 for Argentina). Messi has a potential 16 games (14 for Barca, 2 for Argentina) in the remainder of the year to score the 9 goals required.

Is Best really recognised as a world great though Knotty?
Obviously is in Britain, but elsewhere I genuinely don't know. Also, NI were never expected to do anything Internationally, it's not the same as playing for Argentina.

Sorry Dave but its a myth that Maradona single handedly won the 86 World Cup.
They had many other very good players and functioned well as a team. He was the star of course, but its not like you could stick Maradona in the current Scotland team and they would suddenly be world beaters.
All players need a good team around them to be successful as a team.
