Main Counterpoints

Pacquiao had wins over Marquez and Cotto well before Mayweather did.

Pacquiao beat Cotto, De La Hoya, Hatton and Mosley more convincingly than Mayweather, despite being naturally smaller.

Marquez has never beaten, let alone whooped Pacquiao. Irrelevant point as well.

Mayweather cheated Marquez on the scales and dragged up Marquez 3 weights in a just over a year, it made Marquez slow and sluggish.

Pacquiao was flyweight champion and super-bantamweight champion of the world, Mayweather would have loved the fight then, he loves dragging up the smaller guys to face him.

From a business perspective, it is a good move from Mayweather, take easy fights for pretty good money, rather than take a dangerous fight for mega money.
If the Mayweather fanboys would boycott Floyd's fight then he would have had to take the Pacquiao.

Looks like they fear Pacquiao as well.
