Even though my team unfortunately lost last night I thought that was a very entertaining game at Coleraine Showgrounds and hopefully any neutrals that were watching on Sky Sports enjoyed it.
The live Irish League games have been worth watching.
Our league may not be strong on skill and certainly lacks finances but in the main contains very honest and hard working individuals and hopefully will tempt some people to come back to watch again.
There was quite a decent crowd, end to end action and 5 goals including a last minute winner.
The only thing that spoiled the game was the incompetence yet again of Crangle and his associates and not for the 1st time has this man robbed the Blues. The non penalty decision was a disgrace and he should be instantly demoted to Old Boys League Football 2nd division.
We deserved to win but fair play and respect to Coleraine who were lethal on the break and possess some very decent players. Boyce and Allen (Big two rejects) have formed a lethal partnership and if they stay free of injuries will be there at the end of the season with Cliftonville and Crusaders, and maybe even the Dark Side.
As for my own team wouldn’t be too hard on them based on last night s performance but the knives are sharpening and it will take a few cup wins to keep the wolves from the door. I do think that this will be the Big Mans last season but you never know.

Earl *,
I enjoyed the first part of your comments on the match. The game was great advertisement of the local game. Then, as is often the case with Blue's fans, you had to look for a scapegoat. You're not related to the manager are you? He had his usual post-game rant about the officials (no mob action this time thankfully)!
Not every call in a game is correct, usually a single call will not derail a well coached team. Linfield fans/managers have always suffered the "Fergie disease". It is always the fault of someone else when a game is lost.
I'm not a Coleraine supporter, but they deserved to win! Some free advice for you and other Blues whiners: "Don't go 2 goals behind and you probably won't have to worry about the officials".
Your comment above is childish and smacks of a "poor loser", AND it doesn't do the local game any good. Hopefully Mr. Jeffrey will get fined this time for his continual yapping about the officials before they decide to avoid Linfield games, then who will you blame!

Ohhhh listen to you Mr Meldrew
FFS even Oran Kearney admitted they were lucky to win and the penalty decision was not the 1st one this fine gentleman has turned us down for.
I dont whinge too often you will find, and No we are not related, mores the pity.
I always give the opposition credit (when they deserve it) and really do hope that someone else wins the League this year as we certainly dont deserve to and for the greater good of the game dont need to.

Are there any of those Linfield "crying towels" still available, or did the Rangers fans buy them all!
Be a gentleman and quit blaming the loss on the officials. Linfield lost the game because Coleraine scored more goals than they did. It's really very simple.

Get a load of this guy haha. Nah, had you sussed out after about 5 seconds ya big phanny. You were the guy on the old 606 who never had anything good to say about anything or anybody. Must be the most negative poster ever. I see you still have a strange Graeme McDowellesque typing style too ya nutcase. Think you might wanna go and see a doctor....or in our case doc-TORR.

Peoples,
Thank you for your very positive and polite response. In a way I can feel your pain. Linfield in the middle of the league and the mighty crooked Rangers playing in Div. 3.
I realise times are tough, but it's only a game. Try to control your anger, maybe someone will offer you a job if you behave a little better. Good-bye!

theblue,
I assume your message was in English?
What do you mean "pronto", it took the old fart five
days!
The reason people like to take a shot at the Blues
is because they have been very successful over
the years but who have many fans that are very
thin skinned, as you also appear to be.
Just in case you missed it: Rangers 0 - 3 Inver. C.
Have a wonderful evening!!!!
