And he's correct... In actuality, he recouped 74million.

That's how most clubs operate in this era.

The problem you have joely is that you assume that Everton have been on par with Liverpool during Moyes' tenure.

That's not the case is it. Liverpool operate differently to Everton because they attract more higher calibre players so of course we are going to spend more.

Dalglish wasted more money than Rafael Benitez in my eyes. At least Rafa managed to actually find a few gems for his team. Torres, Mascherano, Alonso, Reina etc...

I was never the biggest Rafa fan but he was the man who brought in Suso, Sterling and Wisdom. Our back four for the last 3 games where Wisdom, Agger, Skrtel and Johnson.
