Very simple article really so most of you should get it
I’ve read on various blogs the feedback from the AGM.
And the general consensus is that our current board is ca(c)k.
Im sure majority of us realized that years ago.
From what I gathered(correct me if I’m wrong) our current board believe that by 2014, when the deals/contracts with our current major sponsors run out and we negotiate/get better deals we’ll be able to compete financially with the big boys
If anyone actually believes that, then Ivan really is doing a great job.
The simple fact is that is a fallacy and it won’t happen, we’ll get better deals but we’ll still be unable to compete with Arab/Russian money.
It might possibly mean we’ll be able to reward our better players with a competitive wage packet and not sell our key players to our rivals, but that’s about it.
My question is are you guys willing to wait for this new pipe dream? cos I’m not!
I can’t pretend to be a season ticket holder but I am a red member and I go to Champs lge matches, Domestic cup games and the occasional premiership games.
But this season, I’ve promised not to give a penny of my hard earned cash to these con artists, although I do subscribe to Sky (no one’s perfect )
What I want to know from my fellow goners is what can we actually do?
Cos there’s nothing worse than watching our team competing with the Spu(d(s it’s a disgrace

I am prepared to wait as long as it takes IF the board was making an effort to bring back the better days.
The fact of the matter is Silent Stan is asset stripping us and pocketing the cash. The club has all the foundations in place to be one of Europe's elite but our board are more concerned with feeding Europe's elite.

There are many managers that could hit the CL places with Wenger's budget
How incredibly arrogant is it to tell everyone how they will be in great financial shape in a few years and their business model is the one everyone should follow
This is the club that rips off its fans with the most expensive seats in world football is it?.....and then brags about it
Commercial revenues not as strong as other top clubs, in fact millions worse off.....great business model that one. Effectively we will have some more revenues one day....probably when the other top clubs have moved on again in terms of what they generate commercially. Only the Arsenal board could be claiming what a great job they are doing when they are ripping off the fans and have been left way behind the others in terms of commercial income
Without any CL revenue the model doesn't work!
What are they spending £143 million year on in wages?
Why does Wenger earn as much as £140 k a week and then the club mess about with contracts for the top players at the club?
Who are they competing against? They certainly aren't competing against United, City & Chelsea. Is beating Spurs, Everton, Newcastle or Liverpool to 4th place a 'great' achievement as Wenger is trying to make out? All of the clubs are working with a smaller budget than Wenger!!!
The way the club talk you'd think they were scrapping by on pennies instead of a massive amount of money that they are clearly wasting.
The fans are the ones suffering by paying through the nose on the promise of tomorrow. Does this mean in a couple of years the price of tickets will be re-adjusted to pay back the fans patience?
It's overall a bit of a joke and incredibly arrogant.
I'm not sure the board understand that most other clubs don't have prime London real estate that they can sell at the top end of the market (especially these days)

Whose laughing at who here? Paying the highest prices in world football and been told it will be a few years before you 'compete'
Wasting £140 million plus on wages when it appears the highest weekly earner is the manager
And pleading poverty when working on a bigger budget than those team you've finished ahead of recently
