Without all the international bickering and childishness, who honestly won today, I think it's about honours even maybe England edging slightly, especially after being inserted on an overcast day at Lord's, to be two down for 130 is quiet good I'd say.

Boycott says england should just keep batting and KP should just bat sensibly and will be on 200 tonight. The very next over KP launches 3 balls to the fence and takes 16 off the over

KP goes past 6000 test runs, only the 12th batsman in history to achieve this
Today is like a roll of honour and as I write this Swann hits 3 boundaries of his own off singh and england are flying to 450 at a serious rate of knots. This partnership is already on 51

30 runs of the last 12 deliveries in a test match at Lords. Stunning stuff by Englands late middle order

Here is something to admire, as KP went past 6000 runs, we were informed that if the little maestro Sachin has a fairly good series, he will go past 15000 runs. Wow, the guy is second to nobody?

When boycott was talking about KP going smoothly and slowly to his double century KP was on 157, 4 overs later he is on 183 not out, england have taken a staggering 48 runs off those 4 overs. CARNAGE, but now Swann has gone. 451 - 8. Lets get India in tonight.

Kp moves from 186 to 202 in the space of 4 balls by smashing each of them to the rope. What an innings and England declare immediately on 474 - 8. We will have a little half hour to bowl at them.

To go from 150 to 202, 52 runs, KP used 25 balls. Swann was also hitting boundaries and when Tremlett came in, he sent his second ball to the fence ( a chinese late cut admitedly ) Happy days.
