I know, we haven't been really linked with him in the press since i don't know 2011. But this guy is amazing, the most underrated Spanish forward and just think that he would be phenomenal with suarez being played wide. We have all the talk of the Cavanis and Lolrente (Which are as much unlikely as Soldado himself perhaps) , so why not mention him in our little transfer fantasy.

So just wanted to know the opinions of my fellow Redmen on this player??
For me it has to be either Huntelaar/Soldado or someone on par with them.
Roberto Soldado

He's not underrated anymore. People have sat up and taken notice. He should be starting for Spain in place of Torres unless they persist with this 4-6-0 (which I suppose Torres is part of the way he plays nowadays)
Hat-trick the other night, great scoring record, coming into the best years of his career, and would definitely cost a lot more than Huntelaar.

Soldado blows hot and cold too much imo. Quite often scores in twos and threes, but then has off days when he squanders plenty of clear opportunities.
Torres really shouldn't be playing for Spain any more.

Quite how Torres played at the Euros but Llorente didn't is a mystery untold.

I'd take Saldado in a heartbeat. He's a good player and beggers can't be choosers.

I assume Torres gets played for Spain in the hope he will suddenly find form again, he shows glimpses now and again then does something awful, wouldn't have got a look in if Villa had been fit.

At 27 i think he just about falls into an acceptable high fee player that FSG will purchase. Very good striker but I also like Negredo but he might not be the BR type of striker however he did once buy Danny Graham so why not Negredo?

The FA wouldn't let Negredo play in the Premier League.
