Chasing the big guns...

Just my humble opinion, of who should be shipped out and what positions need to be added too in the next two windows leading to 13/14 season.

Feel free to shoot me down, it's just what i think, quality wise:

Scrap heap:

Carra (Great servant, love the guy, but sadly the love affair is over)
Coates (I think he's average, simple as that really)
Enrique (I think he's poor and is our big weak link)
Spearing (Passion isn't enough to wear an LFC shirt)
Henderson (Doesn't make any impact, ever)
Cole (Anwsers on a postcard)
Downing (Not Liverpool standard)
Carroll (Just not technical enough for LFC)

Areas to strengthen, IMO:

CB: we need a good back up ball playing center half, as well as Martin Kelly converting back to a covering center back position (£10-12m).

LB: we need a quality (even if it costs £12-15m) left back, who can defend and go forward.

CAM: now this has to be a big buy for us, someone who can open a team up and get ten or more a season (£15-20m).

RW: a tricky, pacey player who importantly adds some goals (£10-15m).

ST: this has to be the most important buy, this has to be someone who can hold the ball up and bring people into play but most importantly score goals (this should be a quality buy up to £25m).

Seems a lot of money, but over two windows with the sales the club should be making and the new sponsorships this is more than achievable.

The thing is, without spending, we are going to get cut further and further from the City's, United's and Chelsea's as they will continue to spend.

I remember player manager, there was this striker, he was amazing, I bought him everytime, called something like Kavalashvilli, sounds Georgian to me. Also one of the best midfielders was Darren Anderton who I had to buy everytime. Think that game was in '94.

I say we buy Ibrahim Bakayoko, Tommy Svindal-Larsen, Ivan De La Pena.

Throw Egil Ostenstad and Jardel up front and we're golden.

Mario Jardel- awesome.

All these player were brilliant on CM but rubbish in real life. I bet Downing is brilliant on FM.

I was bored last week and bought FM13. Think I've spent about 20 minutes on it so far, it just isn't the same. I get bored very easily. Am I doing something wrong or is it just not the same anymore?

Player Manager was amazing. Players were rated 1-5 and you had offices etc for doing your team, transfers, finances etc. You also started with your own player who started off as 5 but of course went down to 4 if you got promoted.

Oh and Downing is crap. The worst thing is the Andy Carroll has a £17m clause in his loan deal and no recall in January. Get it right FM!

It's too complicated for me these days. You spend hours sorting out tactics etc. but if they don't work, then it's another few hours trying to create a new one.

I haven't got 10 hours a day to play it any more either.

The day I accidentally deleted my City game of 12 years from FM08 was incredibly upsetting. Maxim Tsigalko is still the greatest player I've ever had the privilege to manage.
