Team for Saturday

I think there will be enough pressure on DF from the start without him dropping the captain and scorer of a few goals. Whilst I don't see much of a future for SKD after this season, I see the transition as gradual with him featuring less as the season pans out.

My overall opinion then for the starting team on Saturday would be:

Mears Ream Ricketts Warnock
CYL Davies Spearing Petrov
Eagles Davies


There is an assumption Mills is not fit...

Some wrote recently that DF likes a 4231 style formation, which with the above, would see Eagles CYL and Petrov supporting Davies with Eagles the central man. My only thought would be changing Mark Davies for Petrov at some stage and having a more defensive disciplined midfielder along side Spearing.

I'm assuming DF will want to go back to the beginning and look at the defence first with a few clean sheets.

In that case MT, I hope it isn't going to be a dour defensive 0-0 draw!

I am travelling up to the Reebok for the Cardiff match and staying over to take in the Leicester match as well (got me tickets, North End Lower)

I have got athorisation to park me motorhome in the bus park - I would have asked if I could I live there for a few days but they'd probably quote some health and safety regs so I'll park on me mates driveway If you use the buses, come and knock on me door after the match - I always have a supply of tinnies

I'm not one for statistics much, but the last time I was at the bok, was when we had to beat (and did) Boro to stay up, which means I've never seen us lose at home!

I think and hope that Sordell will feature. It'd be a bit strange after talking him up to jot out him on the bench at least.
