Home Games

Wigan
Southampton
Villa
Fulham
Sunderland
Norwich
West Brom
Swansea

They are our next 8 PL home fixtures, taking us to the end of February.

Forget tactics, signings, results in big games. It will ultimately be these games that determine where we finish this season.

Our away form has generally been OK for a while. Not good, but good enough to keep ticking over if you are winning your home games.

We now have a chance to make Anfield a tough place to go and to set our home form up for the last couple of months of the season.

These are the games that the top teams, generally speaking, win relentlessly.

It doesn't just shocked me but I'm too lazy to create a fresh article

To say its a home banker is at the very least insulting, and definitely stupid.

Not really we have consistently beaten Newcastle at home and there was no reason why we could not win yesterday.

United have had 4 penalties for and 0 against this season..

We've had 0 penalties for and 3 against us.

And this is relevant because............

You've just repeated the same opinion without saying why we should just be expected to turn up to win. Could you explain why past results with different players has any relevance to yesterday's game?

if you read my original point I said Newcastle at home "was" (past tense) a home banker and the results prove this but now we are finding ways not to win home games and the same could apply with Wigan etc at home. I am just hightlighting how pathetic we have been at home.

MUD did you come all the way over here just to point that out?

Fair one Kash. You put it across better in your last comment! We do seem to find ways to drop points at home, but of all the teams listed above, none of them come close to Newcastle IMO. As an individual result, a draw wasn't a disaster, especially as we went a goal down. In previous seasons we would of lost it. But I agree, that when you look at things overall, it doesn't look very inspiring at home, we've just got to hope that January brings us an experienced, proven goalscorer. I believe it's as simple as that...

Indeed I did Fred
