After yesterday's game and last week v Everton when he did that legendary celebration, do you think opposition fans are just starting to warm to him, just a little bit? I would hope so because if you look past all the dives and all the cheating and biting players and all the controversy, he is an extremely talented player. Yeah he does do stupid things, but if you read about people who know him best, they all say he would do anything to win. And football needs characters in the game or else it would be boring.
Yesterday's goal was contender for goal of the season and he is carrying us at the moment. I think we all feel the same when he goes down hurt or even loses his head and does something foolish like recent history but that is the way it is at the moment and I just hope the owners do the right thing and back BR in January!

he'll be as liked as much Ronaldo was
which isn't very much

I think if he has a few months without any controversy, and continues his current level of performance, then certainly he will do himself lots of favours in his treatment from the media, and ultimately favour in the general public.
He has the potential to be a contender for player of the year this season.

I doubt he'll be liked as much as Henry, but Henry and Ronaldo are the greatest players the prem has ever seen.

If more opposition fans saw him with his friends, wife and little girl, they would see a different Luis Suarez. IMO he is trying to be a better behaved player on the pitch without taking anything from his love of the game, his enthusiasm, the club and us supporters.

He won't be at Liverpool much longer for anybody to change / alter their opinion of him anyway.
He's far too good a player to be playing in such an average team that's going nowhere.
He'd be a great signing for Chelsea, Arsenal or even Juve who could do with a striker. If he stays at Liverpool surely that just smacks of lack of ambition.

Arsenal they couldn't afford one leg.
Chelsea? They could afford him, but won't need him when they get Falcao.
Juve couldn't get RVP, why would they get Suarez?
He would only leave for a Barca or Real, and they ain't likely to come knocking any time soon.

Why would someone with ambition want to leave Liverpool for Arsenal?
