Before the madness of today gets underway just thought I would mention that we are losing arguably our best member of staff in Alex inglethorpe.
To leave you under no illusions this man is responsible for the upturn in fortunes of our youth system. Caulker, Townsend, Livermore just few of the names this man has produced.
We also just smashed Barcelona and the under 21s sit a top of there league table ahead of Newcastle and Manchester United.
It is sadly ironic that the two best youth teams (and supporters)in the country are tottenham and Liverpool with Liverpool nicking our top coach! Greedy buggers.
Weird aswell considering Liverpool poached our club doctor last season and the doctor that saved fabrice muambas life was a temporary replacement employed by us!
Fantastic news for Liverpool, shocking news for us.
Not that I mean to beat the same drum but tim sherwood is def performing the role of sporting director as he hasn't been taking charge of any youth teams.

1. Again, if you actually read the facts about the Barca production line (inception, first deliverables etc) , then Spurs have much to be optimistic about.

But you do have to wonder whether the Poool and Inglethorpe is a bit of Spurs that may result in Comoli part 2.

You'd hope job done would be most of the first team being derived of youth players that have made it.
Pep said it was one most similar to Barcas, having ex barca men Seguera and Borrell on hand would give it that impression.
Perhaps that's who Inglethorpe wants to work with.
Either way its not because he isn't needed at Spurs. Whether he feels he can't do any more with the resources at Spurs is another matter.
