I believe Liverpool seem to slowly be finding their feet in the league under Rodgers. Liverpool are unbeaten in six league games, have scored in all their last six games but one and have an inform goalscorer in Suarez with six goals in his last six league games.
With recent returns of Johnson and Enrique we now have a much more balanced side, and now have more potential width/penteration. The near returns of Reina and Lucas will bring back experience and stability. Reina will add better distribution to the side, and allow us again to build from the back and retain the ball. Lucas returning will see the biggest improvement to the side, by taking the pressure off Allen, and allowing Gerrard to get more forward.
Other returns in Kelly and Borini will boost the squad strength, and with January coming we can then boost attacking options. Wigan at home next, and then Swansea away. Two big games, but two possible wins if we go for it.

You can't assume all the players will come back fit and in form, nor that we won't pick up other injuries when or before they do come back.
No squad has nobody injured, there is always someone, and thats why we need a bigger squad.
