Between 2007 - 2009 both Luis Suarez and Jan Klaas Hunterlaar played together for Ajax. Their goal talley was as so:
Luis Suarez:
2007/08 = 22 in 44
2008/09 = 28 in 43
Jan Klaas Hunterlaar:
2007/08 = 36 in 45
2008/09 = 9 in 15
Total = 95 goals in 88 games together
Now they are impressive stats, and especially if you consider that Hunterlaar didn't take part in 28 of those games (Suarez missed 1 of those games).
Now if we can manage to get Hunterlaar (which I doubt), then we can finally start to push for 6th to 4th in the League. I know he is 29 years of age, but £8m - £15m for a player who can maybe get us back into the top four for the next 2 to 3 years with his goals is well worth it (look at Van Persie for United).
