Winegum. That's an average of 10m a player. It's not excessive in today's market, so to try and mock it is pretty lame and grasping at straws.

I think you might be surprised. This is a guy who thinks about developing his career, and doesn't have dollar signs in his eyes (yet).

He could have gone to City and Chelsea, and become an instant multi miljonair, but choose Ajax instead, because he thought it was best for his development.

He could have gone to City again last year according to Dutch media, but decided to stay at Ajax.

He's still only 20, and might well decide it's best to make one more step before joining a team full of Hazards, Mata's, Ronaldo's, Silva's, Messi's etc etc.

If he goes to a team like City, Chelsea, Barca or Real at this age, chances are he will not play. And playing regularly is the most important thing at his age.

I can see him joining Liverpool, to get more experience in a much tougher league, before joining an even bigger team. And who knows, if we can keep Suarez, and buy players like Eriksen and Huntelaar, maybe in 2-3 years time it will be our year
