As you may or may not know, the Pukas award is a new competition for the best goal scored in the calender year.
Previous winners:-
Cristiano Ronaldo (2009)- http://www.101greatgoals.com/gvideos/puskas-award-winner-2009-cristiano-ronaldo-manchester-united-v-porto/
Hamit Altintop (2010)- http://www.101greatgoals.com/gvideos/puskas-award-winner-2010-hamit-altintop-turkey-v-kazakhstan/
Neymar (2011)- http://www.101greatgoals.com/gvideos/puskas-award-winner-2010-neymar-santos-v-flamengo/
According to FIFA, the best goal is decided according to the following criteria:
1) aesthetics (a subjective criterion – long-range shots, team moves, acrobatic goals etc)
2) the importance of the match (an objective criterion – in descending order: national teams, continental tournaments, domestic first divisions)
3) the absence of luck or an opposition mistake as a factor making the goal possible
4) fair play: the player must not have conducted himself poorly during the game or, for example, have been found guilty of doping

1st - Falcao - immense technique to achieve such a sweet connection and power
2nd - Moussa Sow - again amazing rarely seen technique to hook it round the player and not in at the near post which would have been easier
3rd - Messi - the way he beat Marcelo (I think) and shoots from further out and scores beats Neymar for me plus the fact that it was against Brazil 7 mins left and 3-3 all at the time

Was Crouch's this calender year?
No idea why Cisse's isn't there, his was far better than Messi's and Ben arfa's.
I'd go for 2 just because it is riiculous but looking at FIFA's criteria, it will go to messi...underserved.

Ben Arfa vs Blackburn was better

Surprised Cisse wasn't there.
Falcao's was scored in a friendly so really shouldn't be there.
