Oh dear, What was that i've just witnessed at Tamworth.
Surely our wonderful manager has learnt from last year.
Sadly on todays performance not.
You can't say either team which played a half was any weaker than the other.
Either team could have turned out in the league.
God help us if we had actually have played Forest.
The manager is still doing strange things.
He wanted to run the rule over the 2 Glenn hoddle academy players so why not go to Alfreton on Tuesday were they were playing instead of going to Rocester.
Why play Jack dyer out on the right wing when its obvious to most his best position is in the middle.
How come every other team has either signed or are in the process af assessing strikers while we do nothing with only 2 weeks of the season to go.
How does he expect them to blend in with no time available.
Anyone of any note is surely signed up anyway,
Maybe we are struggling to sign anyone due to the fact that people don't want to sign for a manger who openly admitted last season that he didn't have a clue what to do to steady the ship.
Again at Tamworth today he stood there with arms folded showing no emotion for 90 mins.
Think its going to be a long season again and this year my money is on Pesch to be out before end of October.
Even ben cant put up with garbage anylonger surely.
Oh Dear what can the matter be.

That Newcastle team had the likes of Barton, Routledge, Beye and Taylor playing for them that day. We had Bossu, Moore and Corbett....
I know what you are saying re' looking for positives, but I honestly don't see anything improving enough for us at the moment that would even show a sign we could hit the lofty heights of 22nd place next season. I'm usually such an optimist as well!

Ill agree withe everything thats been posted so far.
Except Oteps first paragraph of his last posting.
Firstly the manager freely admitted that he was clueless last season and at that alarm bells should be ringing with the chairman.
The fact that we lost to a non-league outfit in such a manner should be contrasted with our performances in the other pre-season games which afterall are games where management experiment and I think we all agree that after last season we need to improve.
However the cluelessness does seemed to have carried on into the start of the new term with his choice of trialists and the goalkeeper with the big red nose and the oversize boots. and there are more dynamic and experienced managers available.
I suggest that Mr Peschisolido is clinging on to his job by the fingernails at the moment, but weather he stays or goes wont be our decision.
Now Oteps first paragraph:
In my opinion bang out of order.
I dont remember anyone getting slagged off.....I remember people having different opinions and stating them on the old 606, which provoked an exchange of views.
Isn't that what a forum is all about?
You seem to suggest that people who dont go to every game dont have valid opinions, mainly because they dont share yours.
I dont go to every game, but the games I do go to I WILL have an opinion on. I dont expect you to agree with them all but i reserve the right to voice it and expect the respect any opinion deserves, right or wrong.
I think your comment was elitist and you should justify it

Yes Deepsigh we all have opinions on various aspects of our football club and my last post was not done to provoke anyone i can assure you.Otep obviously recalls that discussion and was saying how true it has turned out.Let us all carry on throughout the season having these very interesting debates and just respect each other. As ive said before Otep sparks some interesting debate and long may it carry on.RONNIE MOORE FOR ME.Opinions please. !!!!

I will justify it Deepsigh. There are 2 elements to it;
Firstly, you are are taking this personally and I don't know why.
Secondly, there were a couple of characters on the old BBC 606 site (I forget their names) who were downright rude, hostile and, in my opinion, being deliber antagonistic.
A typical example would be after the worn out and exasperated loyal fans had got back from 6 hours on the road, quite a lot out of pocket having seen another inept performance and a heavy defeat that pushed us closer towards the trap door. Upon voicing their disquiet on the site, these individuals would say 'I didn't go myself... but how dare you say Maghoma had a stinker / how dare you say Pesch out / why don't you get behind the team / why don't you go and watch Chelsea instead'.
Yes, I recall those conversations vividly. You must have just missed them Deepsigh. Believe me there were a few characters who were really winding people up. To me and to several others getting in at 9pm at night having just seen another mauling it was red rag to a bull material.

Deepsigh,
I was on the end of some of these comments.
Whats gone has gone but i hope everyone on here now shows others repect and lets them have there say.
I always think if you have a opinion try and give your reasoning for it,
That way people try and understand were you coming from.As was said earlier last season some people just said our views were rubbish but never actually said why,
daderb i believe is the one who most were on about.
he actually offered to pay me to stay away and i must admit towards the end i wish i had taken him up on his offer.

Within 24 - 48 hours I sometimes calm down and look at things a without my anger taking hold of my emotions. I also find some crumbs of comfort. Here's another.
We played 2 teams yesterday - one in each half. Maybe our best team is ½ of one and ½ of the other!

Guys.
I dont know either of you personally, but from what Ive read you're both passionate about the club and I have no problem what so ever about that.
I must have missed the threads you talk about but I know there are people who will deliberately make inflamatory comments to get a reaction.
I just think everyone is entitled to air their opinions irespective on how many times a season they see a team play.
I realise that someone that watches every game will have a more ballanced grasp on whats going on compared to someone who only goes to home matches.
For example
Otep saw Guy branston (I cant believe im dragging this up again!!!) as an inspirational team captain, a motivator and solid defender.
I saw him as a crude defender who barked at his team mates blaming everyone else for HIS mistakes and a liability because of his suspensons
We both aired these views on the old 606.
Who was right? who is to say? but differing views are the basis of a good forum.
If you want to hear some real rubbish, listen to some of the views in the popside bar before a game.
At the end of the day we all shout for the same team so
COME ON YOU BREWERS !!

Deepsigh,
Understand were your coming from.
We all have our favourites and dislikes.
Must admit i'm usually try to tell it as i see it.
Dont wear the Yellow and Black glasses.
Not saying most do but when we turn out garbage like saturday and second part of last season how can anyone really say positive things.
If everyones opinion was the same there wouldn't be a 606 as everyone would know what everybody else felt.
You comment about hearing real rubbish in the popside bar before a game ,well you've fallen in the same trap as others.
Its only rubbish if you disagree with it.
Most people know who i am so come and have a beer before a game.
I know who a few on here are and we always have a laugh and joke as to whats been said.
At the end of the day its a good bit of banter if taken in the right way which i have to say it usually is.

I did not drink from my BAFC mug on Sunday morning as i was in mourning, but did today with the slim chance there will be changes that will move the club foward. If we dont see progress a quater into the new season heads must roll. The club and fans deserves better .
