Dave

To put it simply

Show us where anyone has at any point said the share issue is to cover a working capital shortfall.

Seems to be only you that is looking at this and thinking a share issue means £20m is badly needed to cover something.

The guys is just asking fans to invest in the club, a lot could be done with £20m, it doesnt have to cover anything, the message being put across is that it'll be invested in the squad, used to develop facilities and provide ADDITIONAL working capital

the point of the share issue is to ensure rangers are never at the peril of one man again , with no individual owning more than 15% and fans having a chance to buy in.

we have no external debt, but will still owe greens consortium 5.5m + the cash to see us through from him taking over and the season book cash coming in.

the club WILL be cash rich by june of next year, we have a team on the park that can get us to the spl but what after that? we want to compete when we get there.

that is why we need to have a large cash reserve to reinvest when the time comes.

there is no hole to be made up thats more scaremongering, the point is to have cash to reinvest when the time comes.

To put it simply fan loyalty and pride is at a very high level. Strike when the iron is hot so to speak.
