deserved but tainted

No doubt in my mind that seb vettel deserves to be wdc this year.
Give him a good car and he delivers, webber has nigh on the same car and doesnt.
Alonso would have been worthy of winning overall due to out performing the car so often, although the legal but unsporting behavior of ferrari wouldve left a slight bitter taste.
Onto the title of this thread........ vettel caused the crash which resulted in him being in last place, he took out 2 cars which he wouldnt have to pass later in the race, and yet didnt receive a penalty, i thought his actions in that situation was more worthy of a penalty than hulkenburgs, both ruined the race for others but only one got a penalty.
Had he got a penalty the outcome may have been very different, a drive through shouldve been the minimum

'Apparent rage'? Hardly, I just believe in giving credit where it's due. I have nothing against Hamilton - if he'd had a more reliable car he would probably have challenged for the title himself, but he didn't. Sheet happens. If Hamilton had been in the Red Bull and was now champion, would you be calling him lucky? I don't think so. As for Alonso, he had a 40 point lead over Vettel with five races to go and in one of those Vettel started from last place in the pit lane yet Alonso still couldn't deliver the title, despite Ferrari (as usual) going completely against the spirit of the rules in the USA when they busted Massa's gearbox to promote Alonso on the grid. That's three straight years Vettel's beaten him now; in two of them Alonso had very good chances to win the title himself but saw them slip through his fingers, yet you insist he's the better driver?

beggars belief that people still believe that vettel is not the real deal , when you ask them why and what else he has to do they cant tell you and dont bother to respond back --
the lack of formula 1 knowledge is very evident on this forum --

Depends on your definition of "real deal". If you mean the best on the grid then no, he isn't.
Always helps when stating an opinion to throw an insult in at the end.

i never said vettel was the best on the grid , that is very likely alonso at this moment in time but it has been very clear these last few seasons that vettel is also very special ,
that was the gist of my previous comment --

xiggly that's an amusing comment to make considering you and your friends who despise Hamilton cannot give a plausible reason for your hatred of him.

The reason why there are question marks about Vettel is because of the dominance of the car he's driving. If you look at this season for instance, prior to the redbull becoming the dominant car on the grid, he wasn't doing anything special.

I personally would like to see what seb can do in a car not designed by Mr Newey.

I'll be the first to doff my cap to him if he can replicate similar performances.

I have my doubts though

AVBWonderland (U11074) Alonso has scored points in every single race apart from the two races where some one crashed into him. The Ferrari has never been better than either the McLaren or Red Bull at any stage during the season. That is why in my opinion Vettel did not merit his 3rd WDC. He certainly did not even merit his first. As for his second his car was unbeatable.

give the hamilton hate bollox a rest manx it is getting childish and boring mate i have never shown any disrespect for hamilton on this forum , you do youself no favours by trying to start silly off topic arguments on here -

as for question marks about vettel -- by whom ?? a couple of people on a insignificant people on an internet sport forum -

show me a driver that has not won a WDC in a dominant car i n recent years -

the thing is the red bull was not even a dominant car this year , it was normally a good car but never a dominant car -
-------------------- and vettel still won the WDC in it

Hey lets not forget Raikkonen here. Finished ahead of both McLaren drivers and a Red Bull in his come back year. Still as fast as ever and giving us the best funny moments of the year.

Next year watch out, has to be a chance of title number 2 for the Iceman.

good shout welshy , i thought KR had a brilliant season giving the uncompetitive nature of his lotus for most of the season , probally only alonso and possibly vettel could of matched his performances if the roles had been reversed -

"....despite Ferrari (as usual) going completely against the spirit of the rules..."

Oh, tsk, tsk, surely not? I could never, never believe such a claim.

Sir, you malign a respected team who abide by the rules with pedantic courtesy and who's priority is always to display the acme of sporting endeavour.
I'm most strongly disgruntled that you cannot see that!
