I heard on a well known sports radio station yesterday that David Moyes is the 12th highest paid manager in the world, ahead of the likes of Conte at Juve, Klopp at Dortmund, Allegri at Milan, Del Bosque (Spain) and Low (Germany).

Are you getting value for money?
This isn't a wum by the way. I can't actually believe that Mark Hughes and O'Neill are also making more money than the managers listed above. You could also argue that Dalglish was paid too much considering we finished 8th (although there was a little "payback" with winning a trophy and getting us to another cup final)
Do we pay managers too much in this country? Are we rewarding mediocrity when you think what the likes of Klopp, Conte, Low and Bosque have achieved and what Moyes, O'Neill and Hughes have achieved.
Moyes - VFM?

How do you come to that conclusion.
I agree with Hughes and O'Neill. But over 10 years is Moyes worth what he has done to the club? Trophy or not, I would take him over managers who need to spend to get results/build a side

Everyone thinks their wives and girlfriends are beautiful so obviously you love what Moyes has done for your club. Nobody really rates Rafa but we love him.
Thinking about it objectively, he's turned you from a team that finished 12-16th to a team that finishes about 5-9th. That is am acheivement but vfm? You had a couple of seasons at 4/5th but then regressed. In ten years you've only once come close to winning a trophy, you've done nothing of note in Europe. On that basis should he getting more than a manager like Klopp for example? Could Moyes go to Germany and take Dortmund to the title? Could Klopp come to Everton and get them a 6th-9th finish? I know these questions can't be answered but you know what I'm getting at.
As I said, he's not a bad manager, just think he and other PL managers are overpaid.

You did not tag your article with any other clubs though did you. You singled out Everton and Moyes because you are clearly upset with the performance of Liverpool. That was your sole motive. Don't try to masquerade as some poor fan complaining about the amount of money spent by the English PL. Check out the money that is spent on agents. does that upset you in the same way?
I hate Manchester but I do not blame Liverpool FC for the fact that Everton has not dominated the top division in English football. Stop being so childish and looking for scapegoats to justify your own failures or the failure of football to get a grip of finances and various scams.

It has slowly come down to a very long winded dig at Moyes not winning a trophy

For those wages, you'd think he'd won every trophy going.

You can only tag two teams unless you specifically ask the admins to multiboard. I didn't bother with that as there are very few Sunderland and QPR supporters on here. If you want to believe that I did this as a wum to specifically pick on Moyes because of our own failures and our current form, which over the last 8 games has been better than yours by the way, then so be it. You'd be wrong though. Your post just exemplifies that small team mentality again and that chip on the shoulder. It was a genuine question that most of you except Fell are willing to answer, because you look at that wage and probably agree that it is a joke for a manager that has not won anything, very rarely gets you into Europe and finishes between 6-9th every season.
As for the agents, it does annoy me, they're leeches.
