Just a thought, James Mccarthy is currently playing his socks out for Wigan in the premiership. Week in week out, he picks the final pass through to create chances aswell as shooting from distance when given the opportunity. Was highlighted as a player big clubs would probably be moving for in January. Thoughts on a cheeky bid for him? Would go with our British theme and may possibly help to give us that something in midfield we lack (and have lacked for the last 5 years...) Would you take him?

James McCarthy and James McArthur may not be considered top players but both are pretty good and would add numbers to our midfield. I have't watched them this season, or much last but if they don't have injury issues, I would consider a bid for them.

our defence is tubbish, we probably conceded the fewest shots on our goal of any top 10 side but everything goes in against us.
