A picture of Khumalo wearing a Spurs shirt:

Someone at the club probably realises the irony too, because they only go as far as showing him in a training top:

What on earth was this signing all about? Purely commercial interests? Can't think of another reason for it...if so I hope it's been decent business.
A sight I don't expect to see again...

It seemed odd to me at first that we'd loan him to a Championship side after him getting a Prem loan last season but I've seen a comment from Harry making it clear we can recall him if need be. We may not need to of course but if it was a Prem loan there'd be no call back, I think. So I don't see it as his Spurs career over, yet.

signing him and pienaar then having our pre season in south africa coincidental? no way obviously a marketing ploy as united and chelsea have asia wrapped up.

ddd, which prem club did he go to? I thought he went to Preston?
Didn't see much to get excited about during the friendlies, but then you could say the same about half our squad.

He was at Preston last season. If we loan him out to a Premier League club and we hit our annual centre back crisis, we won't be able to recall him.
To be honest, I don't think he's anywhere near ready for the Premier League after our very shaky defensive performances in SA...
