I have been asked to post a message on here regarding squids recent absence from this forum.
Squid unfortunately has some health problems and at the moment is in some distress with his eyesight. He is due to go into hospital for an operation on the 14th of January and a few days after that he is hoping that his sight will have improved enough for him to resume posting on JA606.
I am sure we all wish him the best for this operation and he would like to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
As for myself in true GS tradition I wish nobody a Merry Christmas or a Happy New Year, bah humbug

On a serious note Christmas is a wonderful time of year and I will always love it no matter how old I get.
Its a time for families, fun and the pure joy of seeing childrens faces as they unwrap their presents, there is nothing to beat those joyful faces not even THFC winning.
I hope all of you, and your families, have a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year.
BTW Squids wife will have read all the kind comments that were posted on here and for those I thank you he is a top guy
