It wont be brinkmanship when the economy cuts massively and it affects the world markets. These people the republicans are nutters who believe it's all god.

I've been getting into stock trading recently and these bible bashers make the Pope look like a hippy in charge of the economy.

The thing to learn about the stock market is how to make money from a downward market, that way you can make money no matter what way the market and econemy are going.

fyi, i have not learned how to do that yet, i spend too much time reading these forums and watching 3rd div games

G3r5fan (U6067), in its most simple form look for inverse ETFS, Xuks.l is the inverse of the FTSE100. You can also trade sg covered warrants often with decent leverage 3x+, you want put options, which is the right to sell at a given price, so if the stock is trading below that price when the option matures(you can sell at any point, not just at maturity) then you are quids in...BUT.... you can lose all your cash easily with options that end out worthless.
