Surely a manager of a club team has more to do in a year than an international manager. I mean how many fewer games would that be that they're managing?

Spurtle the manager of a country has a far harder time than a club mananger which is why so few actually get the plaudits. You have a maximum of 2 trophies over 4 years if you manage a european team and if you dont win anything your a failure.
You have the players a maximum of about 4 weeks a year (if the club managers dont tell them to fake injury), You have to be diplomatic both to your local FA board and the managers of clubs across europe and your on a hiding to nothing if your star striker decides to to take a 6 year nap and not produce his club form.
All in all I would say a club manager has it a hell of a sight easier.

Oh and you cany nip next door and buy your neighbours star striker either, what you see is what you've got.

DelBosque...
He took the best side, with the best players to win a trophy?
Why not the Italy boss for what he managed to eek out of his side?

Yeh Prandelli. Would have loved for the award to go to him.

He had some talent....but it had to be in of the poorest Italian sides..
Pirlo didn't made the list either??

Another joke. Pirlo 33 year old took Juve to the title with an unbeaten record too and then helped his country reach the final of Euro2012. Put in a string of motm performances in the Euros.
