Why Rafa is good for your club

Hello,

None of my business I know but it just occurred to me (and I'm sure you've probably discussed this amongst yourselves plenty of times) that having Rafa doing spectacularly badly as your interim manager is a good thing. If he was doing well, winning games - winning the League Cup for example - and pushing Utd and City for the title, then Roman might be persuaded to keep him on. It's pretty clear that won't happen and sets it up perfectly for (I assume) Guardiola to take the reigns in the summer. He can't possibly do as badly as Rafa and won't be pushed into playing a mis-firing striker. It almost allows for a fairly slow start because you'll all be sol relieved that Rafa is no longer the boss, and you know long term that Guardiola will build a top side.

I think it could turn out well for you.

If Chelsea finish 5th under Benitez, Guardiola will only be going to the Kings Road for a spot of shopping !

Rafa will do just enough.
This idea he's a tactical genius is way off the mark. He will win us games but when we're up against it, looking for inspiration he doesn't have the nous to change it.

And from his point of view, why should he? He's only here til the summer, this is just a temp job for him.

Guardiola isn't coming to Chelsea. Our only option is one of the Chelsea legends. Zola, Puyot etc. No one is crazy enough to take the Chelsea job.

And how do we know that?
When was the last time Guardiola built a top side I wonder?
