Can I take this opportunity to let you know I'll take the ticket off you if you can't attend the derby or Chelsea game!

It's been done here in Ireland too where people "rent" their season tickets for want of a better word to tour groups when they cant make it over too the game. if I was lucky enough to own a season ticket personally though I don't think I would trust these companies with my ST

Do you just sell your ticket or do you have a couple?

There's plenty of unofficial ticket exchanges on twitter. Most of the people seem all right. I wouldn't worry too much about not getting your STs back. First of all, you're unlikely to sell it to someone who won't give it back. Secondly, if for some bizarre reason you don't get it back just phone ticket office and report it lost/stolen. New ticket in the post.

If you're on about viagogo, it's a rip off, for the buyer.

But if it's a good enough game, you'll definitely get rid of it. You'll probably sell it at face value for the lower grade games.

I wish viagogo was still running.

Even though, the prices weren't ideal, with VAT and handling fees included, it was still a good and safe way of selling your ticket through an official channel.

When I had my season ticket I think I sold my ticket for about 3 games on there which wasn't bad and I went to about 22-23 games the season I had mine so it didn't go to waste that often.

I'd be worried about posting a season card out tbh although you can replace it if something does go wrong but it's just a hassle.

If you know somebody who lives near and goes to games, it's always better. I get my tickets off a mate whenever him and his dad aren't using their's so they know they're in safe hands.

Hey - I live in London. I have two tickets so will be selling them as a pair.

No I have made sure I am free for Chelsea and City games..

I would be happy with less than face value for some of the games tbh - anything is better than nothing.

I might give the twitter exchanges a try - see if I get anything..

Yes try the various twitter ticket exchanges but always do it face to face. Don't post your season ticket and receive payment by bank transfer or through paypal.

I'd say you'd have a decent chance in selling your ticket to someone who lives near you now and again.
