So the FA have asked Sir bac0n face to explain his comments about the officiating at Sundays game. "Im disappointed with him...we've not had a good record with him". Why dont they just fine him and be done with it instead of letting him backtrack on those comments and avoid another punishment.

When will the FA grow a pair! Bunch of gutless impotent fackheads

That'll be a no, then.

Maybe you should consider the hypocrisy of your behaviour then.

We all had a good laugh when Fergie said RVP could've been killed by a football but as crusty as he is he knows what he's doing when he says things like that - trying to get refs to give his players more decisions.
Same with comments about refs, linesmen etc. The fact he's been charged so many times goes to prove he crosses the line frequently. Articles like the one nomadic posted illustrate the effects his comments have on their decisions. In a way I admire Fergie for being a master at mind games and the media.. he's put plenty to the sword.. even if he is losing it a bit in his old age

Why does he need to explain?
He moans after every game. Too much added time, blatant pen, should have been a foul, linemans was poor, ref was poor, not enough added time, goal shouldn't have stood, RVP could have died, he should have been sent off.
Week after week after week.... It's boring and it just shows how much a bad loser he is.

SAF does go overboard sometimes, and I'm not denying that.
But at the end of the day, he's just criticising an official's performance - how many Managers do that? Yet when SAF does it, you go on about trying to influence referees.
Could it not be that he's peed off and letting off some steam?
To think the article nomadic provided offers some sort of proof, you need to be very naive.
Read my reply to him - don't you think that's a very logical reason for those statistics?

I think you're right - he is a bad loser.
If you stuck a camera in our faces after our team had lost or conceded in the last minute, I wonder how many of us would be classed as a 'good loser'?
Put it this way - I'd rather put up with SAF's over reactions than have Roy Hodgson fronting the club - lovely bloke, but a lot of Liverpool fans seemed to be annoyed because he was too nice!

He is just peed off and letting off steam, but given the profile of United and SIR Alex Ferguson you can understand why a ref would be influenced. I wouldn't want to have my ear chewed off by Fergie.
I agree stats are just raw data, but they do indicate a pattern.
Do you think Fergie has no influence on refs?

I think it's possible that SAF has an influence, but I also think it's possible that other PL managers do too.
I'm not really sure what the difference is?
The stats do indicate a pattern, but surely you have to consider reasons for that pattern. For you, it's biased referees.
For me, it's that away sides at OT, when leading or drawing, waste more time than United do when leading at home.
I'm comfortable which of those views is more logical.
