Right, so we all know without any shadow of a doubt, that the 4th Estate are just about as poor now as they ever have been.
The seeming inability to even get a semblance of truth in any article is completely astonishing.
Clearly over the past couple of years, the main story in regards to football in the West of Scotland has been Rangers, and all the problems.
With the BTC result, and even pending its appeal (which could last years), and the ongoing SPL investigation, there is MORE than enough to keep even the most incompetent journo fully occupied, and the pages of the rags & blogs completely full of those spouting brown stuff, from whatever side they may find themselves. And such is our society.
But, when you have self portrayed "serious investigative journalists" such as C4's Mr Thompson, jumping onto any rumour from anywhere, and stating the rumour as fact, it has really gone beyond any possible definition of joke.
Indeed, it could be taken, by the more extreme viewpoints found around some blogs from the likes of Leggo, Rangers Media, Vanguard Bears etc that this is an attempt to harm the company by driving the share price down.
Or from the other side, the rumours and statements from Mcwhathisname, Thompson, & Kerrydale St are taken as the written gospel, to be completely believed 100%, no matter when it is completely disproved.
So, a winding up order. One that was served, yet is wasn't, but it has, but no one can find it anywhere, for a liability, but that's a debt, that was not agreed, yet it was massively overdue....
Now tonight we have Mc 3 names getting his panties all wadded up, and failing to see the irony, about "subject to paperwork" whilst stating that there has not been any winding up order served, but paperwork is being prepared.
Please, someone, ANYONE, calm all this BS down.
And now with Succulent Lamb being fed fine claret from Mr Green's table, we will no doubt have officially sanctioned hyperbole flashed out to the hungry hordes.
When was it exactly that we actually forgot that this is in fact ONLY A GAME.
Yes, it is employment for the few, but for the vast majority, it is a pastime, a hobby, something to do when not at work. Albeit for far too many it is a life, but then, that's what happens with empty voids, they are filled with anything at all.
We need to calm it down. The papers need to sell copy of course, but is anyone just completely fed up with the whole nonsense.
Let's just watch the game, moan like he ll about the refs and the bad tackles, and leave the rest of the BS alone.
Too much to ask?
WTF is wrong with some people?

Super,
He's asking questions mate. Might seem dramatic but there's no agenda.

Blue,
Potential is the key I'd suppose. Charlie's made a lot of promises.

He has.
Football clubs are a rare species as well. A few poor results, like ours, and share prices can tumble.

Thomson is not asking questions - he is stating rumour as fact, and THAT is a problem.

BBC are at it now:
"BBC Scotland understands no agreement has been reached between Rangers and a Singapore based company, Orlit Enterprises."
"It is thought two disputed bills amount to around £400,000."
"BBC Scotland understands Orlit Enterprises are investigating the possibility of raising a winding up order against the company which currently runs Rangers within the next seven to 10 days, if the dispute continues."
"The BBC spoke to Mr Chan from Singapore this morning. He offered no comment on the matter. Nova Enterprises' UK solicitors Pritchard Englefield said they couldn't comment on any of their clients.
Allenby Capital told the BBC their company is not involved in this dispute and they have no interest in Rangers Football Club."
No not a single quote from Singapore. Not even an unattributed quote. Just BBC Scotland "understands".
WTF are these journos getting paid for?
My 8 year old could do better than this.
If there is a story, find it, & tell it in full, with proof. If not, shut the f uck up.

Jeez - the muppet Thomson STILL cannot admit he & his bosom buddy McGillivan got this massively wrong.
Despite a statement explaining it in detail, he STILL wants more.
Why? Because you cannot find anything else malicious to spread? Because you & Phil are running out of BS?
Or are you simply so far into being a Rangers basher now that you have zero chance of saving what once may have been a promising career?
