Juve training...

...at Auchenhowie.

First things first, this isn't going to be an article that's meant to rile Celtic fans, far from it.

So, to the matter at hand. It's pretty common knowledge that they will be using the facilities at Auchenhowie as preparation for their midweek game.

However, I hope that Ally uses this opportunity to get some coaching ideas for himself. (This isn't a dig at him btw ) Some continental training techniques are clearly needed in training in order to work on the fitness of the players, and the technical ability of set pieces etc.

It's also an opportunity to pick the brains of their coaching staff for some different ideas in regards to setting out the team. From what I've seen of Juve this year, they've got a good passing game when on the ball, but get back into position quickly, and have players that can both put in a tackle as well as pass. Abilities which could certainly be introduced into our squad just now.

Hopefully the young lads in the squad take the time to watch how players like Pirlo, Vidal, Isla etc play the game, and take aspects from this into their game. Watching these types of players in the flesh and up close can't do them any harm.
