TEAM NEWS
Tottenham goalkeeper Brad Friedel will again start in the second leg of their Europa League clash with Lyon.
The 41-year-old has been used in the cup so far and will start ahead of ex-Lyon man Hugo Lloris.
Striker Jermain Defoe (ankle) has not travelled with the squad, but is expected to return to training next week., while Sandro, Younes Kaboul and Tom Huddlestone (all knee) all remain out.
Lyon midfielder Steed Malbranque is available to face his former club again after recovering from a bout of flu which forced him to miss the weekend's 4-0 win over Bordeaux.

Winning or not losing while playing meh or poor.
Bodes well for the PL run-in.

It's fine when you win some games without playing well... Its great actually
But lets be honest how many times in this entire season have we actually played well. I'm sure we can count them on one hand...
Results are great and I'm glad but I'd be deceiving myself if I said I like the way were playing...

Not awe-inspiring.
But I'll take it if it becomes the baseline on which we add the flair that replaces Modric and VDV.
