Brewers Match Predictor (34): Exeter

What happens when an awesome home record meets an awesome away record. Surely a draw. No, that's too obvious isn't it.

Brewers 1 Grecians 2

This based upon the fact that we have had such a good time recently. It can't continue surely. Nothing good lasts forever. Or does it in our 2012 / 2013 season? By 5pm on Saturday we will know.

As everyone else, I hope and believe the dream is still alive by 5pm Saturday. I t will be tough though, and a big crowd must get behind the players right from the start!

We really want this victory, more than and we must shout and encourage the players to achieve the result

Brewers 3 Exeter 1

I didn't notice if anyone mentioned about Artur Krysiak, who was taken off injured in the last game, but is said
"to be given every chance to proove his fitness." Although improved as a keeper, his erratic streak could help us, or would he play a blinder! There is also Kevin Amankwaah.!
C'mon you Brewers!!

A real test today. Exeter have not lost away in the league since October! But they will be traveling up knowing that we haven't lost at home since November.

Most of their wins have been by the odd goal with most of their goals scored by Jamie Cureton so it's a big day for Sharps and Holness.

Last time they were here was in the Conference. 4-4 (Clare, Williams, Harrad 2) on the final day, when two late goals pegged us back and pitched us against Cambridge in the play-off's.

A year earlier we had beaten them 1-0 with an Andy Corbett winner. 2-0 in Feb '06 with Gilroy and Harrad the scorers. Another 1-0 in Feb '04 with Jon Shaw making the difference.

So we go back to October 2003 for their last win here, 4-3 with 2 Aaron penalties and a Christian Moore goal keeping the score respectable.

All counts for nothing today. But do I think we can do it? Yes we can!

2-0 to the Brewers

It's going to be a tough one today and tougher probably than against Rotherham. I think however, that the team has the confidence and belief to win this game. I'm therefore going for Albion 1 Exeter 0.

Well done Brewers and well done Marco.
I am not sure about Exeters second goal, it wil be intresting to see that one on football league show later tonight.
The Brewers did the job first half and when we went up 4-0 they took the foot off the gas and let Exeter think there was hope, but good on you Brewers you switched back onn. From that point Exeter had no chance of coming back as they shut up shop no problem. A great team performance Brewers.
