Cheers D & D...I've had my wife in hospital over the last few weeks which means I've got to pull my finger out and get some chores done around the house..all good now.

Re; Souths in 2013...we finished 3rd last season and I expect us to be up there again this year, with the players having a taste of finals footy we hopefully will get there on the big day in 2013..
Melbourne will still be the team to beat, but their normal quality bench and reserves are not as strong as in the past and with rep duties and a few injuries the Storm might come back to the pack.
Manly haven't done themselves any favours by spending huge amounts on keeping a few aged players and forced out a few quality youngsters by doing so...may struggle for depth as well.
The Bulldogs were all the talk for 2013 until Ben Barba's sudden off field antics got hold of him....he was their one an only real dangerous strike weapon. Usually the loss of one player wouldn't inpact a whole team, but this bloke is the real deal and the Dog's will struggle without him...Nth.Queensland Cowboys will be the team to watch this season....IMO

thanks Rabbitohs you dont sound too confident though , its difficult to watch NRL in the UK, can watch any thing else but not sure of the reason the NRL is only on a very expensive subscription channel, so the average UK league fan never sees NRL, watched a couple of games last season by a stream that i found online, would appreciate if any one has any decent link to offer for this season

Just got myself an external hard drive
so will be recording quite a few games.

I've just recently obtained cable tele so I will be able to watch the English Super League a lot more then just the highlights from here on. I can't get over how there are so many old faces still going around and playing well an all.......blokes like Steve Menzies and Brett Hodgson would play rugby league for a bowl of rice I believe, they just love it..

I would think that Menzies and Hodgson would be on a lot more than a bowl of rice at their clubs

Here in Thailand get all the Nrl games,
but sadly no super league coverage.
I have Star sports which is Fox asia.
but no rugby coverage. Setanta sports
covers Nrl . all the rest is rugby union,
which means we get the 6 nations which
is great, but i do so much miss the Saints
games.

Joecos......whats your opinion on Nathan Brown...
