I can give you my view on it Zats, not sure how seriously it will be taken.
There were 10-20 individuals singing about Muamba during the game. There were considerably more than that joining in the missile throwing with the Bolton fans towards the end of the game. And even more than that involved in an old-fashioned square up separated by police after. Presumably there were organised elements from both sides involved given the numbers compared to previous seasons.
Have to say though its funny how it always kicks off at Bolton but pretty much nowhere else Rovers fans go. Make of that what you will.

Just following on from your snide little dig, I've never heard of any fans of any club anywhere singing sick songs about Muamba, you make of that what you will, blueandwhitehalves..

I'll take you seriously blueandwhitehalves, appreciate your response, however in the art of debate i have never seen bolton fight with any team like tonight (well except in Madrid but that was more just Spanish police truncheon-ing anyone and everyone who made noise)
Looks to me like it was a local derby, some Blackburn lads thought they'd be clever and make some disgusting song up about Muamba, and some Bolton fans didn't take to kindly to it, and I can see why.

So systematic violence against a set of supporters (the majority of the time yours against ours, our idiots are obsessed with Burnley) isn't as bad as a few people singing a song in bad taste? Astounding that you're trying to point the finger given the multiple attacks on Rovers fans outside the away end of your ground in recent years. Either you're somehow oblivious to the hundred or so hyperactive, aggressive thugs in the corner of the Nat Lofthouse stand that swarm towards our end after every game at the Reebok, or you're deliberately ignoring it.
Burnden Park was exactly the same, in fact worse, was some of the worst violence I've seen watching Rovers in the 70s. You're got your head firmly planted in the sand if you think your club doesn't have more than its fair share of hooligans.

Oh, blueandwhitehalves has dropped the snide dig tactic and is actually stating what he was trying to insinuate just one post ago.
It's pretty straightforward, blueandwhitehalves.
Singing sick songs is bad.
Throwing missiles is bad.
Fighting is bad.
Anyone who took part in any of these activities tonight is bad.
Posters on here aren't going to attempt to justify thuggery by Bolton fans any more than your halo-polishing routine justifies thuggery from Blackburn fans.
Thank you for the six points this season and long may your club be an absolute laughing stock. Pun intentional. Stock, chicken. Chicken stock.

Mamba wasn't the only target, either.
There was some pretty reprehensible stuff being 'sung' at one of the disabled lads.
Hopefully, if not this season then next, we'll be back where we belong. Then we'll just have the Stoke fans to put up with. And quite frankly, they are a better class of Neanderthal.

Muamba.
There were no snakes there.

Some thoughts which I couldn't post at the time due to my phone's interweb connection sticking.
A nice Pre-match rendition of "I feel good" a song that needed to be accompanied by fat men running with big flags.
This capped a cracking day for me. The pressure of work off whilst I was on another job, a lovely day, being able to watch Countdown then a last minute win over our six fingered friends from up the road. Bliss.
As frustrating as some of the play was at times I thought our fans were excellent again. Getting behind the lads and not moaning. (I understand this may be more where I was sat).
Can't argue with Alonso's man of the match, (bar his mad back pass moment), mentions to Jay Spearing and Medo's midfield play though. Some tidy stuff at times.
Kevin Davies had borrowed someone else's legs for this game. He looked a lot quicker than normal but the time was right to take him off for Cravies. All in all a good tactical plan from Dougo.
Another awful refereeing performace. They know what they are doing because they are qualified in refereeing so it must be sheer incompetence at work.
David Bentley IS alive. By the looks of things he'd been living on a desert island. Also Leon Best is a strange looking boy.
