What is it that I miss most about JJG, I hear you ask yourselves on an almost hourly basis. The answer is his brilliant Friday jokes. Gosh they were funny you would say to yourself while trying desperately to remember who the hell this JJG chap is. Well feast upon my succulent hilarity:
A horse walks into a cheese shop (yes a cheese shop, not a bar) and the cheesemonger (not a barman) says "why the long face?" And the horse says "neigh" and eats some cheese, because it's a horse and doesn't really understand the human conventions of paying for items in retail outlets hahahahaha!
David Beckham (not a horse) walks into a bar (not a cheese shop) and asks for some horse (because he's French now) and the barman makes some kind of unfunny faux-satirical comment about Tesco. Hahahahaha!
And finally before your sides split:
Q. How many horses, cheese shops and old footballers does it take to change a lightbulb into a couple of jokes? (Where the lightbulb is metaphorical and symbolises an idea rather than being an actual lightbulb.)
A. The jury's still out.
