Would help if they didn't just pick based on where a player is from. Players like Whittaker, Hutton, Adam etc. There is players capable of playing just as bad playing regular in the SPL

Adam, Hutton and whittaker would play just as bad if they played in the SPL!

Its different that 10 years ago. The spine of the team is the most worrying part but we do have goal scorers and a lot of wide players. Just need to pick the right ones.

Brown, fletcher and morrison would make a difference. Thats about it though. Maybe forrest. If we dont have any quality centre backs coming through then it'll be the same strory in the next qualifiers.

Brown is hopeless, his technique is so poor it hurts.

Our only technically decent player is Darren Fletcher and he looks to be out for some time, and there are doubts over whether he'll every make a full recovery.

Hutton is a confidence player, when he's on form he's very good but he's not had a regular run in a team for some time. Hopefully a good run in Spain will see him return to form. Caldwell is gash, always has been. How he captains a premiership side is beyond me. Whittaker has always been pretty useless defensively, IMO one of his previous managers should have turned him into a midfielder. His strengths are passing, shooting and a turn of pace, not defending.
