Yes, it was a huge but welcome surprise to beat Palace on their own turf, and in such style as well. Although it did bother me a little bit the way Palace played deep into our half in the second half, and in some instances getting behind our defenders with relative ease along the goal line. Had it not been for some rather poor finishing, Palace could have snatched a couple of goals back at least.

As it is, we got the goals, AND (for a change) didn't cave in and concede in our usual headless chicken way. Nicely done, lads

Great performance last night and Redmond was unplayable.

Palace had a poor game by their standards of this season but that was the best I have seen us play all season.

I have been a big knocker of Clark and one game will not change my mind but he has us playing some nice football at the moment and he is bringing the kids through.

I would rather have 11 kids in the team that want to play for the shirt rather than 11 players on massive wages who couldn't give a flying you know what.

One other point on last night, it was nice to see Zigic giving the kids some encouragement and he kept talking to them throughout the game which was good to see. He has to be a leader in this team and is finally showing it!

I can see where you are coming from with King but with the goals he provides I would rather have him in the team.

Our renaissance seems to have coincided with Nathan Redmond's return to the team,Carson Yeung's probably rubbing his cell bars in anticipation of how much we can sell him for!

I have a lot of sympathy these days for Lee Clark and he certainly seems to be settling into the job now,we still need to offload our owners although maybe even they might see the advantages of getting back to the Premier League?

I have heard a rumour BIB that Redmond could be off in the summer but I hope not as he is a fantastic player, if we could keep hold of him for another season and try and make a promotion push next year then if we don't get up he could go with my blessing as by that time he will be too good for this league.

Hopefully the Chinese mafia sell up pretty soon and we can get back to concentrating on football.
