"Expectation"
At the beginning of the season Rangers Football Club was in dire straights and in state of shock of what happened to them and where they would end up playing football this season.
We can all debate the quality of squad and results however what we can't take away from this group of players is that this group have met this challenge in gaining promotion and in doing so Rangers winning tradition continues.
After all the bullshoitte we as Rangers fans have been put through our club has met this expectation of winning division three, i think that is fantastic and doubt giving the circumstances and out with Celtic i don't think any other football club in Scotland could manage that feat.
Rangers didn't win because we had the most fans home and away we won this league because we "Had" to, tradition and history and the level of expectation demands that we do, that's the driving force behind our fantastic club and what makes us "Unique" along with other clubs with the same rich history in the game.
I say to the Rangers fans that think this season has not been good enough.
You are very lucky to to be going to Ibrox on match day to support Rangers never forget that - this season was about winning promotion "nothing else"
Congratulations Rangers

Congratulations Rangers. Objective achieved!
Despite some dire performances in recent weeks, Ally's team got what they set out to get last August. Given the ease with which the points rolled in over the past 5 months and the falling by the wayside of their challengers, it is no surprise that complacency set at Ibrox and Ally has a job on his hands learning new ways to motivate his players under circumstances like this. No doubt the same will be true during the campaign to take the Div 2 title next season and quite likely considerably harder since the squad is unlikely to be strengthened in any meaningful manner.
Hopefully between now and the end of this season, McCoist finds a way to motivate some of his players who are not responding as they should to the challenges facing their club. If he can do so, this will stand them all in good stead for next year.

A total anticlimax. Won the league on default. Fcking rubbish. A total embarrassment to the club. Cant believe anyone has the the brass neck to celebrate winning that league.

Laudrup reckons it's title number 55 and he's going to enjoy it.

Up to him. I don't begrudge anyone else celebrating. And in some ways it's great to be even in existence...but I'm not celebrating.

what exactly were you expecting Helicopter frign Sunday.
Its won it wasnt pretty but we achieved what was targeted.
As for celebrating it well fine some will and some wont Its up to them.
Why should you not enjoy it, the fans had nothing to do with the last 18 months all they have done is stand by their team.
The fact that PB thinks its a brass neck is nether here nor there and quite frankly a touch insulting to our players our fans and all the other SFL3 clubs.
For me its worth celebrating not simply winning a title but the fact that its one of many steps on our way back.
It amazes me that any Rangers fan would see it any other way.

We did what we had to do!
congrats to Ally and the players!
But I still beleive Ally, Durrant and McDowall aint the guys we need in charge.
I like the fact that there is alot of young talents getting their chance, but the way McCoist is talking in the way of signings he will push them out next season by bringing Bikey and Daly. We should be encouraging the youngsters!
