She stole my free milk, shut the mines, and píssed off the Unions but was overall a very good PM. She took the bull by the balls, wasn't afraid to upset people to do what she thought was best for the country and was a huge success, imo.

She was a dreadful person who brought misery to millions of folk. The only sad thing about it is that she died peacefully.

She did what was required to revive the almost dead UK Plc. Sorted out the unions who were destroying the country.

Yes she was flawed, deeply in areas, but never did the popular thing, more what she thought to be the right thing.

God alone knows where we would be had Michael Foot or Neil Kinnock been PM.

MT polarises opinion probably more than any PM we have ever had.

Miners strikes, Falklands war, Poll Tax, Killing of historic industries that couldnt be sustained and demonisation of footy fans

She knew her mind and stuck to her guns if she thought she was in the right which sometimes she was but not always.

She had a strong work ethic and couldnt tolerate anyone who didnt.

One thing is for sure we wouldnt be in the state we are now with regard to the benefit cuture, immigration or our troubled relationship with the EU if leaders that followed her had half as much backbone.

Love her or loathe her I would rather have a strong PM than any of the line of political class clowns who have never lived in the real world that have followed.
