Points from top 4 clubs

Ok, from the other top 4 finishers last year, how many points do you think City can get this season?

Mutd - 4
Chelsea - 4
Arsenal - 6

Arsenal should no longer be considered top 4 no matter what the table said.

I expect us to be good at home and go for the 0-0 away except for arsenal who look weak especially if Cesc and Nasri leave

So am I to think on that basis City will win the league, if not who dya think will?

Newcastle will win the league!! Mark my words, it's the last thing we will all be expecting!

i think it should be tight at the top.

mutd will probably prevail, but they will need to improve on last season because both city and chelsea will.

arrogance of the nouveau riche

so in your opinion you're not going to lose against the probable winners and runners up according to the bookies (ever seen a poor one?). Hey why not go the whole hog; if you can max points against the goons everybody else in the league should just be a formality no?

it is realism my spud friend.

City have got to have a great chance this season if they can build on last season.

The addition of Aguero (whether or not Tevez leaves) and the two defenders makes city a better squad.

If bobby can get in the winger and midfielder he seems to want, then that will only improve the squad again.

having dzeko or balotelli to come on rather than Jo (12 league games) or having clichy rather than bridge (3 league games) has got to be good for city.

mutd and chelsea will need to step up a gear if they want to resist city's challenge.

this is how most reasonable people will see the new season.

Dawg

I have no doubt that City, having spent in excess of £350M in a couple of seasons, will mount a challenge for top spot; most reasonable people will agree and most neutrals will welcome this as it breaks the stranglehold that Utd and Chelsea have had for the last 6 years or so.

Similarly most reasonable people and neutrals deplore the arrogance (dropping 4 points from 18 against the top 3 sides???) of this new breed of city 'fan' and hope that the bubble bursts and city implode. I am btw not having a go here at the old faithful city fans who followed their team through thick and thin, up and down the leagues over the last 30 years or so.

MTH, i have supported city for over 30 years. i can even remember us winning a trophy before last year!

is it arrogance to expect to win your home games?

even your lot expect to beat arsenal home and away every season!
