What can I say?
Nerves and emotions through the ringer again. Huffed and puffed for most of the afternoon. Plymouth fought hard but didn't see a lot of quality.
Where did they find the ref? We've seen some bad ones but this guy was just not fit for purpose.
Thought we needed changes much earlier and with the minutes ticking away feared the worst. The away support - and fair play to so many making the long trek, even if the coaches were paid for - were getting noisier and this seemed to be swaying the red buffoon's decision making.
Was doing the mental maths as to how big a disaster a point would be. Remember Belly taking the free kick, Sharpsy getting his head on it, then all a bit of blur until the net rippled.
2 to go and still everything to play for
Come on you Brewers!!!
1-0 to the Albion...........

Before anyone points out the error of my ways, it was a McCrory corner that Shaprsy got his head on, the Bell free kick (which I thought was last chance saloon) was a minuter or so earlier. Who cares. Three points!

Yes its not good for the heart ,i felt we huffed and puffed without really creating many clear cut chances, excellent away support ,plymouth are too good to go down ,i was impressed with the lively Banton upfront for them ,and even Branston won the majority of battles with billy ,but fair play to the brewers we have given ourselves a chance of automatic promotion ,no more than that . Rotherham play Bradford mid week and really we need a Bradford win ,equally Northampton go to Wycombe in a game they cannot afford to lose . Should we not get anything next weekend at Bradford i fear we need to win against Gillingham in our final match to seal automatic as i think a point will take us level with both Rotherham and Northampton with possibly an inferior goal difference .I expect Rotherham to lose to Bradford away ,draw at Plymouth and beat Aldershot at home finishing on 74pts . Northampton to beat Wycombe away ,lose to Port Vale away and beat Barnet on the last home game finishing on 74pts . So two draws or a win could be enough to finish on 75 or 76pts . As for Cheltenham they have a chance too of finishing i think on 74 pts if they can get either a win at Exeter or win at home to Bradford . Bradford i think will finish on 73 pts with wins over Rotherham ,Burton and a draw against Cheltenham .Its still easier than a relegation dogfight !!

Guys stay cool your thinking to much,a point at Bradford and we will beat Gillingham not a problem.Plymouth support was brilliant today and i dont want them to be relegated what a fantastic football club. When the goal went in it was robbery but i dont care because im sure if it was the other way round Plymouth wouldnt care either. The lads march on and fair play to them.

Absolutely delighted. We didn't play very well in the final third but we scored that all important goal.
Being a football pessimist I feel sure that heartache is just around the corner.
We are definitely guaranteed a play off spot now. Did anyone notice that?
Theoretically Port Vale could miss out. Stranger things have happened.
Here's another possibility. Maybe we have enough points already. Stranger things have happened.

Absolutely stinking drunk, haven't bee such a happy drunk in so long, what a finish to a game, it was superb.
Plymouth fans were fantastic and I truly hope they stay up.
It was a poor game really, with nothing between the teams, then in steps Pato - AGAIN, what does this lad have to do to get a start? Absolutely amazing to pinch it in the 94th minute. Pato I love you, the whole of Burton loves you. xx

I agree with all that's been said. Another match to remember and yes Plymouth don't deserve to go down, what great fans they have. I also agree that Mat Paterson should get a start before too long, but what a great super sub he is.

What a fantastic finish to what was a game that had nothing until the 94th minute!
Thought Pato and Drury looked up for it when they came on. Pato is such a good player, and he has now scored some incredibly important goals for us this season. The celebrations were magical, the whole bench and half the man stand seemed to be piled on top of the lad!
Plymouth were the best supported club to have visited us this season, incredible vocal support and they must be gutted as they had the best chances but thanks to Lyness we kept them out.
Two games to go, oh my god it is still on, do you really think we can take it to the last game of the season? would be fantastic if we could.
Loved it, love Pato, love Rowett, love Bell just love the whole friggin lot of them!!

Bradford is a massive game for us next weekend ,we will know a bit more after tuesdays results , Bradford v Rotherham and Wycombe v Northampton , but really we just need to focus on a solid display next weekend keeping things tight at the back ,because there is still a chance it may all go down to goal difference . We are so close to automatic promotion ,i keep thinking about Accrington scoring in the last minute against us and how valuable those two points would have been ,but i think the important thing is to celebrate getting to the play offs for now ,that is a brilliant achievement for a club our size , the management must be congratulated for getting us to this point . It will be interesting when we play Gillingham in our final game what the crowd is and how many fans come out the woodwork to our final match .im pretty sure its going to go right to the wire with possibly as many as five teams fighting for that final spot . Come on BREWERS you can do it !

I thought we were the better team on Saturday except for about 10 minutes when Argyle had a good spell and a chance. We could certainly have had a few penalties and definately should have just before the corner when McCrory had his shirt pulled in the box as he was about to shoot, what happened with the disallowed goal by Symes, first the referee(i use that term losely because he was clueless all afternoon) blew his whistle because we had taken the kick before he blew the whistle and then he gave offside when we should have taken the free kick again. Personally i thought we deserved the win due to determination and doggedness to keep going. I wasn't expecting a classic,at this stage of the season its points not performancies that matter. We have shown a lot of character to come back from the Vale humiliation and win two games both with clean sheets. I thought Bob at the back was immense again as he was on tuesday night.
Will be very interesting to see the results on tuesday night, any combination apart from a Rotherham victory will do ! Is it possible we could achieve promotion at Bradford ? If Rotherham don't win at Bradford our destiny is in our own hands.
Finally it was great to see the reaction of all the players and the bench to the late winner,it showed it meant as much to them as it did to us.
