I am glad we (Suarez) have/has not appealed.
Even if the appeal would have been successful (which based on the FA's record, was massively unlikely), at best we would have got a couple of games back.
Alongside this we would have had weeks more coverage of the incident, with more negative publicity for the club, press conferences being overrun with questions about it, and generally dragging it out in to the summer.
I just hope Suarez keeps his mouth shut about it when he goes back to Uruguay in the summer, gets his head down and comes back next season ready to play football with none of the rubbish.
Both he and the club can now move on. We get the chance to try some different things in our remaining games, he gets the chance for an extended period of rest (which is actually not a bad thing at all, I suspect his propensity to getting banned maintains his lack of getting injured very often).
If he does leave in the summer, I hope it gets done relatively early so we can use the money to buy new players quickly.
Sensible Decision

It's the best decision he could've made under the current circumstances.

Agree righteous, little to be gained from appealing. Given we have 4 games with little to play for this season I think it was inevitable that the ban would impact next season, 6 games (5 league fixtures) is not the end of the world.
Take it on the chin and look forward to seeing him refreshed and ready to go next season.

if we strengthen correctly over the summer and suarez stays, im sure we can handle 5 epl games without him, just think of it as an injury

You must be happy we're going to lose our best player

Errrr, what?
Why would anyone be happy about it? Acknowledging it's a possibility is different to joy at the thought!

Fred you are such a clown
If Suarez knuckles down and doesn't act like a , then I am happy for him to stay.
You have no evidence he is leaving now, just your usual knee-jerk reaction to anything.
I can picture the scene in your house 'Fred, what do you want for breakfast this morning' 'Cornflakes! Definitely Cornflakes (10 sec's later) 'No wait! I have completely changed my mind in a complete and utter about turn! I now don't want any breakfast at all!'
Apart from some egg on your pathetic face.
