Match Preview
Wigan Athletic host Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday in a crucial game for both sides that will have ramifications at the top and bottom of the Premier League.Roberto Martinez's Latics have developed a reputation for escapology after embarking on a superb run of form to pull clear of the relegation zone 12 months ago, but heroics are required again in the final five matches of this season. They are currently in the bottom three and their chances of survival were dented last weekend by a 2-0 defeat at West Ham United, together with vital wins for the likes of Sunderland, Stoke City and Norwich City.Aston Villa did lose to Manchester United but Wigan remain three points adrift of Paul Lambert's men, albeit with a game in hand.It will be tough for Wigan to return to winning ways against a Spurs side fighting capital rivals Chelsea and Arsenal for UEFA Champions League qualification.Tottenham are still outside the top four but are just two points behind Arsenal with a game in hand, and their North London rivals must tackle newly-crowned champions Manchester United on Sunday.Andre Villas-Boas' side staged a stunning comeback to beat Manchester City 3-1 last weekend as three goals in seven second-half minutes gave them a potentially decisive victory. That result will count for nothing if Spurs slip up against Wigan, however, and there will be no complacency after a surprise 1-0 loss in the reverse fixture at White Hart Lane.

TOTTENHAM Team News
Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon has recovered from his knee injury and is available for to face Wigan.Gareth Bale and striker Jermain Defoe suffered no reaction to their respective ankle and pelvis problems against Manchester City last Sunday and are fully fit for the trip to the DW Stadium.Midfielder Sandro (knee) and defensive duo Younes Kaboul (thigh) and William Gallas (calf) are unavailable

WIGAN Team News
Jean Beausejour is set to return to the Wigan starting line-up for Saturday's crucial contest at the DW Stadium. With Antolin Alcaraz (hamstring) out for three weeks, Beausejour is likely to profit from a defensive reshuffle.Maynor Figueroa is likely to move back from the wing-back berth he filled at West Ham last weekend.

"If Wigan go an collapse @ the emirates I'll blow a facking fuse"

They're playing away for starters.
How much fight is in them depends on what their plight is by the time of that game.

Last minute goal that'll do for us today.

Also Wigan's away form is better than their home form. They'll beat Arsenal by 5

Would McManaman have been playing if the FA had handed out the correct punishment for his leg breaker?
