Good evening/morning fellow Gooners wherever you may be! Just wanted to make a couple of points about our point today. It was great to see us pressing and closing down the United players for a majority of the first half. Theo was a shade offside for his goal, but that's football. Sometimes you get a call and sometimes you don't. Good to see that he played until the whistle. After the goal, we needed to go for a second. Ramsey played in Poldi instead of passing to a wide open Theo on his right. It's hard to say that the move would have resulted in a goal, but if it had we would have likely taken all 3 points. If you would have offered me a point at the beginning of the day though, I would have taken it in a heartbeat. I really don't know what to say about Sagna. As soon as I saw him go to pass, I knew it wasn't going to be good. He didn't need to go for the tackle on RVP in the box, Mert was covering behind him. He was really lucky to stay on the pitch after he clattered into Evra in the 2nd half. Bac will always be a favorite of mine, but he hasn't been himself this year. I don't know what it's down to, but he just isn't the same player. We seemed to drop once Jack came on and Rosicky went off. I don't know what to say about Jack either, but it seems that we're still trying to figure out how to play with him out there. It was nice to see Szczesny make a few good saves. Kos and Mert had a good game at the back as well, and I thought our midfield did a good job for most of the game. Overall, it was a solid performance. If we can maintain our energy and pressing levels for the next 3 games, it looks like we'll be able to have "Our Trophy" again.
In regards to RVP, I have no problems with what he did. He scored, but he didn't celebrate. I'm not a fan of how things ended between us, but it isn't his fault that we didn't match his ambition. We haven't won anything for 8 years now. Can you really blame him for leaving?
I remember thinking at the end of last year how I just wanted the season to be over with so we could start fresh next year...and that's how I feel right now...when am I going to feel differently? COYG!

before last year I thought Sagna was the best RB in the league but was injured a lot last year.
I would say he has been pretty good this year when he has played but the challenge on RVP today was just dumb he wasn't even in that much of a threatening position I think he went mad when he lost the ball.

Yes I agree with that also. I also think when offers are being talked about and your constantly under the microscope regarding moving on, it can't help. Yesterday he looked as if he just wanted the ground to open up and swallow him.
