Players Available on a Free Transfer?

Saw this list and thought it might be something that some here on Ja606 would be interested in. Any names that you think might be a good idea to pursue? I did not create the list, so I take no responsibility for its accuraccy.

Thomas Ince is on the list, that one surprised me, had not realized his contract was up at the end of this season. Still reviewing the list myself.

If you look under Norway, you see Magnus Eikrem on the list. Bring him back?

No but I think it's almost certain that he's off in the summer. Worst kept secret in Germany apparently. But not a free like you say. He'll go for a decent fee still.

The thing about Ince is that we'll be in the strongest position because we have that 35% sell on clause.

Looking at that list, Ryan Babels on it someone fire up the chopper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Robben was put on the transfer list last week. I imagine his fee will be in the low millions.

For a talent like his that's almost like a free transfer.

Spurs might take a punt on him, especially if monkey boy leaves.

His dad will be a stumbling block about a possible United move. Don't think Fergie talks to him even now. And we're probs not interested anyway.

Good player though.

Robben would be a decent replacement for Bale if he goes to Spain as some are suggesting he may.

£50m or so for Bale and £5-10m on Robben, leaving £40m to improve their front line. Wouldn't be the worst thing for them. If they could land Robben, a TOP drawer striker and Holtby steps up to the plate.....they could be even better next season even without Bale.

I think this will be the craziest ever summer of sales with the PL improving the most. I can see Falcao, Lewandowski, Cavani, Robben, Alonso, Draxler and many more coming.

Jose returning too.

It's interesting how many "next big things" from the last decade or so are not renewing/not having their contracts renewed, Hugo Viana, Miralem Sulejmani,Pablo Aimar, Joaquín, Mickaël Landreau, where all tipped for the very top (if memory serves) and have some what fizzled out due to injury and poor form.

We should definitely try and get Tom Ince, he can play on either wing, attacking midfield or just behind the front man and is very direct, if the club think Zaha was worth a punt then so should Ince and we arguably need him more than Wilfred.

Joaquín and Aimar are more or less at the end of thier careers, Hugo Viana flopped at Newcastle, no? Sulejmani onlt 24 and I thought he was linked with West Ham last year. Mickaël Landreau might be worth a punt if our Anders Linengaard decides to move on. We'd get a decent keeper who could still challange De Gea if need be. But I suspect he would probably move for first team football.

I think it's fair to say that Joaquín hasn't lived up to the potential he showed in his early 20's and Aimar had a decent spell at Valencia but never turned into the all conquering play-maker he was tipped to.

Mickaël Landreau was being talked about has the future French number one, the one who would take over from Barthez long term but he's been on the periphery of the national teams starting line up for years . Viana was talked about as a prospect BEFORE Newcastle not afterwards, and that was pretty much the point i was making.

Honda looked decent at the World Cup, he can't be worse than Valencia.
