Will Bayern Bottle It Again??

With a track record of falling apart from seemingly unassailable positions in recent Champion's League finals, will the 'Bottlers of Bayern' finally revert to type in the final at Wembley?

They've displayed great collective strength and a solid team spirit in getting to this point but I have a feeling history might well repeat itself once again.

They carry too much mental scar tissue from previous turnovers not to be afflicted once again. Whether they can overcome this potentially crippling effect is just one of a number of fascinating aspects to this first ever all-German European Cup Final.

Will facing another, familiar, domestic rival help Bayern override their endemic 'big final' jitters?

I've tipped Dortmund for months to go all the way to victory in this season competition but this totally titanic Teutonic tussle will be a real test for them.

Can they do it?

Ever since the Malaga game, I've been convinced its Dortmund's year. Hope I'm right too - it really would be a victory for football.

It's anyone's to guess whoever turns up on the day will win, I'm sure out will be a great final.

Don't want Bayern to join the exclusive club of 3 that have 5 or more European cups so I really hope Dortmund to the business.

If Bayern do lose will they be the only side ever to lose 3 finals in 4 years?

simply put balls.

they were nervous at home in the cl final but were leading right until one final last corner made it all moot... they didn't play well.

they are not going to bottle this. i'm really oging to enjoy this final cos frankly its been coming... spain got handed its head this time round, just like england got handed its head 4 years ago...

Bayern are a super side, they deserve this... dortmund on the other hand are likely to only get this chance at it so i half wish them well too.

Sounds like Dortmund are practically being dismantled after this season so this is their chance.

their tactic of signing all of Dortmund's players before the final is a good one.
