Totally disgusted with BBC/Sky deal, so I have decided to let the powers that be know know I feel. If any of you want to do the same, I have sent this message to the following:-
FOTA:- info@teamsassociation.org
F1 Sponsors:- info@Formula100.biz
It may not do any good, but if enough people do it, it'll make 'em think.
Body of Email:-

Dear Sir
I am writing to you to give my thoughts on the recently announced Sky/BBC coverage deal and some of your members’ reaction to it.
I do not have Sky TV at the moment, and have worked out to get similar quality programmes that I have been enjoying from the BBC, I will need to spend £600 per annum, and this brings me to the comments made by Messrs Parr and Boullier who both seem to think it is acceptable to expect me to pay over 15% of my disposable income so that teams may receive an extra £1M each, which is an increase of only 0.75% - 2.5% depending on the team, as someone said on a forum “who needs fans so long as you have shinier cars". Mr Whitmarsh has also been strangely quiet on the matter, having stated recently the importance of F1 staying on free to view TV.
I will not be subscribing to Sky, as I have never found the need for any of News Corp’s products and services in the past, and in light of recent events, I doubt if I ever will.
With the above in mind, I have revisited some of the decisions I have made in recent years and have decided to make the following changes.
Mobile Phone:- As I am out of contract, I have started to move my account from Vodaphone to O2. I had initially joined Vodaphone as I needed a new mobile, and I thought I might as well get it from the sponsor of my favorite team.
Savings account:- Will be moved from Santander (originally with Abbey) by the end of the week.
There are a couple of other changes to be made, but I’ll not be throwing away my Acer laptop, however, when it is time to replace it I’ll not be looking at any company that is involved in F1.
I realize the above will not bring Vodaphone to it’s knees, nor spark another Northern Rock, but it will give me satisfaction to know that none of my money is going towards a sport I’ve followed avidly for 30 years and that has now kicked me and millions of others in the teeth.
I realize your organization had nothing to do with the decision, as Mr Ecclestone did not even bother to consult you, but never the less, the results are the same.
Good luck to all of you for the remainder of the season, and farewell after Brazil.

I think they'll get the jist of it when only 10% of the normal F1 viewers tune in.
